Autumn Christening at Profitis Ilias Church in Perama
Sunday, 8 November 2015, Profitis Ilias in Perama of Attica.
Floras’ christening was held on November 8, 2015 at the Church of the Prophet Elias, at Perama of Attica. Good weather helped especially because outside the church there was a buffet for the guests, while the decoration included many pink balloons with children’s name painted, candles and other childhood masterpieces, with dominant colour of course the pink! Very beautiful were the bonbons which thrilled the guests with their elegance.
After the christening reception was held at a nearby restaurant, where the guests were entertained with dancing and music and there was a band playing live. Flora’s parents, Georgia and Aristomenis seemed to enjoy the festive day as actively participating by dancing themselves, and equally happy were the godparents, George and Myrto. The music included a wide repertoire of Latin options up greek folk and traditional.
Special care was for small children, who sat on a table of their one, in which could, among others, to paint! Together they enjoyed the festive table and also the very special and quite impressive cake that had been painted on the name of little Flora.
